A compact instrument with a dark processor, green circuit boards, copper contacts, a ceramic shell, and blue modules. Silicon: the same components form a low processor with 48 copper contacts and traced circuit boards. Machines: the instrument rebuilds into a precision gantry with a camera lens, guide shafts, and drive wheels. Systems: the same central processor connects to four docked blue modules.
